Galaxy Jar

A Jar (mason jar, cleaned out peanut butter jar, really anything that's clear with a lid)

A lot of cotton balls

How to make:

  1. Fill the jar ⅓ with water

  2. Add a squeeze of any paint color to the water and mix

  3. Once mixed, add a shake of glitter to the paint and water solution--this makes the stars in your galaxy!

  4. Stretch out cotton balls and add them to the jar until the bottom is filled with cotton. Poke with a stick or knife to push them in the bottom

  5. Repeat steps 1-4 with a new color of paint, allowing the colors to mix

  6. Repeat steps 1-4 with your third color of paint so the jar is full

Now you’re done! This craft might need some help from an adult, and it can be messy!
